Small business milestones do not always arrive with warning. Sometimes they walk through your front door carrying boxes.
Bentley + Lace was selected as one of 10 regional small businesses recognized through the 2025 Empowering the Heart of Texas initiative from Lenovo and the Dallas Cowboys.
Even writing that sentence felt surreal.
Bentley + Lace began as a family-owned small business centered around one creative idea: make extraordinary gowns that help photographers and families create photographs and moments that feel different from everything else.
That idea grew into custom couture, a nationwide gown rental collection and a community of photographers, moms and creative professionals who have supported our small business along the way.
Behind every finished gown is the less visible side of running a small business: shipping, inventory, customer service, photography, technology, rental scheduling, website management, measurements, custom orders, marketing and communication.
Creativity built Bentley + Lace. Technology helps our small business bring that creativity to customers across the country.
Then Lenovo showed up at our small business.
As part of the recognition, Bentley + Lace received a Lenovo technology package designed to help growing small businesses strengthen the systems behind their work.
Technology may not be the glamorous side of couture, but for a small business managing custom orders and nationwide gown rentals, it touches almost every part of the customer experience.
Better tools mean more efficient systems, stronger communication and more time for the part of our small business that started everything: creating.
