After graduating college in 2007, Copeland ventured into the corporate world of marketing and advertising, only to find her true calling in fashion. She took a leap of faith, stepping into the realm of entrepreneurship. Starting with her marketing consulting firm and followed by her first children's brand, E COUTURE DESIGNS, Copeland's entrepreneurial spirit led her to her latest and most passionate venture, Bentley + Lace and Finnegan and Lace.

The Design Process (Step-by-Step)
Every Bentley + Lace creation begins with concept and sketching, where each design is hand-drawn and brought to life through mood boards that capture the gown’s inspiration, color story, and unique details. We then move into fabric selection, sourcing only premium, hand-selected materials from around the world to ensure exceptional texture, drape, and longevity. Next, pattern making and cutting are completed with precision to create a tailored fit that flatters and feels comfortable for children, teens, and adults alike. The gown is then transformed through handcrafting and detailing, where couture techniques like lacework, beadwork, pleating, and layered ruffles are meticulously applied. Finally, every piece goes through a finishing and quality check, ensuring that each gown meets our exacting couture standards before it’s ready to make your moment unforgettable.
