before you rent:
Online Hours of Operation and Local Studio Visits
- Online Hours of Operation: Monday to Friday, 9 AM - 5 PM (M-F).
- Local Texas-Based Studio (By Appointment Only): Our local studio in Frisco, Texas is open by appointment only. Please schedule your visit with us in advance. DO NOT return ship any orders to this address.
Emails received after 5 PM will be addressed on the following business day.
Full Rental Agreement
By placing your order, you agree to all the terms outlined in this rental agreement.
8-Day Rental Duration Explanation:
Please note that your rental period is a total of 8 days. This means that your start date, designated as day 1, is when your gown is delivered to you. Day 8 signifies the end of your rental period and the day your order must be returned to us. In most instances, it's advisable to drop off your order at FedEx on the Monday before the last in-store pickup, or the latest by Tuesday if your rental begins on a Saturday or Sunday.
Early shipment arrivals do NOT change your dates.
Returning Your Rental Order:
We will send you an invoice for a discounted return shipping label before shipping your order, which is typically done on Monday or Tuesday. If you choose to prepay for your return label, it will be included in your shipment. Please ensure you double-check for this label and take care not to misplace it. In cases where you didn't pay the invoice before we shipped your order, we will send a final reminder invoice that must be paid promptly. We will also send you an email containing your label.
Late Returns
Late returns will incur a late fee of $70, and for each day you're late, you'll be sent a bill. The total late fee will not exceed 200% of the retail value, plus applicable sales tax.
Care and Maintenance of Our Gowns
Please treat our gowns with care and adhere to the following guidelines:
- Avoid using our gowns with animals or pets.
- Do not use our gowns near water, mud, or sharp objects.
- Refrain from using our gowns with food, drinks, body makeup, or spray tanning.
- Avoid excessive play or rough handling of the gowns.
COVID-19 Updates (2023)
Health and Safety
- For the safety of our staff and renters, we kindly request that our rentals not be used if anyone involved in the photo shoot has been diagnosed with COVID-19, been in close contact with a diagnosed individual within the past 14 days, or is currently diagnosed with the virus.
- In such cases, we won't issue a refund, but we will provide a shop credit for a future order.
- We ask that you not open the box and request a return shipping label via email and set up a pickup of shipment.
Wholesale and Resale
We do not wholesale our gowns, and unauthorized resale for profit is prohibited. Reselling should be conducted at your cost with no additional fees added. We do not allow other companies to rent our gowns without legal consent.

Terms of Service Updates
Please be aware that our terms of service may change over time, and it is your responsibility to stay informed about these changes. Your use of our website constitutes your acceptance of these terms.
Please Note: A rental item, typically a dress, should not be reserved or booked for use in a multi-mini session event. In other words, please do not book a single dress for multiple children (6 or more) to wear.
Why is this important? This rule exists because rentals are intended for use by 1-5 children. Using a dress for more than that is considered a mini session or workshop rental booking.
We always recommend booking more than one dress to accommodate your clients. When you rent only one dress for a multi-booking mini session, you run the higher risk of incurring damage fees and possible restocking fees.
If you have any questions or need clarification on this, please email us. We do offer discounts when booking rentals for a multi-mini session or workshop, and we want to ensure you have a positive rental experience with us.
Please refrain from sharing your rental with a friend. You are responsible for the rental and all the terms in this agreement. These terms are subject to change at any time. It's always best to email us before booking if you don't understand the rental process or need clarification.
Agreement:
By purchasing a B+L RENTAL item(s), you agree to adhere to all the details of this contract and accept all the terms of this agreement. This is a binding contract, and as the purchaser, you are fully responsible for ALL rental item(s). If you lend this item(s) to someone else, you understand that you are responsible for any and all damages incurred.
Important Order Notes:
You will receive the specified size, color, and design on or before the delivery date for which you placed your order, except in the rare event that the item(s) is damaged beyond repair or otherwise unavailable. If this happens, we will use reasonable efforts to notify you immediately. If we can reach you, we will allow you to choose an available in-stock rental item(s) to replace the unavailable item(s). If we can't reach you, or you respond with insufficient time to resolve the issue, you acknowledge and agree that we may send you a store credit or a replacement product of the same or greater value. In some cases, you will be issued an immediate refund.
We inspect each item with utmost care and attention to detail. However, using our item(s) is at your own risk. You agree that B+L shall not be held liable for any health-related complaints, such as allergic reactions to cleaning methods/soaps, associated with any item(s).
To ensure your item(s) fit, please review the PRODUCT DESCRIPTION tab on each product page. There, you'll find full specifications for each item, which will help you properly measure your model/daughter/client before making your purchase. It's your responsibility to ensure you have measured correctly before placing your order.
On each product page, you will find measurements (full specs of the garment for comparing your client/child's size). It's crucial to compare your client's/child's measurements to those provided to ensure the item(s) fit correctly.
Cancellation and Date Change Policy:
If you need to cancel your reservation due to client cancellation, a change of mind, or unforeseen circumstances like a shoot/vendor cancellation (venue, makeup artist, etc.), we will not issue any refund or credit. If you need to change the date due to unforeseen situations like mother nature, we will issue a credit for the full Rental Fee of the item(s) for a future rental by you, so long as the item(s) are available.
You must email us within 14 days or sooner from your booking date for us to make any possible changes in your order. Any order that is already within the shipping time frame (7 days before) will not be cancelled and will not be issued a date change.
In addition, if we decide to issue a credit or refund, we will subtract a restocking fee of $50.00 from the refund/credit amount.
Condition of Item(s):
B+L item(s) may be brand new, like new, in excellent used condition, or good used condition. Minor flaws may be present, and we do our best to include them in the product description.
Shipping:
You are responsible for shipping FEES (to and return to us.)
PO Boxes for orders are not allowed. B+L ships via FedEx Ground only.
We do not offer USPS Priority shipping. You are responsible for selecting a shipping carrier that will return the items on time and in good condition.
You are responsible for any lost or stolen item(s) and any damages that occur during shipment.

Return and Extensions:
You agree to return the item(s) to B+L on or before the return date specified on your invoice. In some cases, extensions may be possible, contingent on other orders for that item(s) and available only upon pre-payment of the additional Rental Fee.
Late Fees:
If you return the item(s) late or fail to return them at all, a late fee will be charged. For each day you are late, you will be billed, and you agree to pay these fees, up to an amount not exceeding 200% of the retail or market value, as determined at B+L's discretion. This late fee is applicable to the order itself and not to each individual item in the order.
Payment of 200% Retail Value or Market Value:
Should you be charged an amount equal to 200% of the retail or market value and you still possess the item(s), the item(s) are then considered yours to keep, without any future refund or return.
Repair/Damage Fee:
A repair/damage fee may be charged for the following reasons:
- Damage to beading along the neckline, arms, or waist that requires multiple repairs.
- Stuck or damaged zippers caused by improper handling.
- Major rips to the tulle or fabric.
- Excessive stains (grass, mud, water, oil, makeup).
- Any item(s) returned with excessive foreign objects (e.g., grass, sticks, leaves).
- Any damage caused by animals used against policy.
You agree that B+L may charge you for additional cleaning fees, repairs, or replacement of item(s), as determined at B+L's discretion, up to 200% of the retail or market value for the product, including damages incurred during shipment.
Wholesale and Resale:
We do not allow wholesale of our gowns. Unauthorized buying and selling for profit is prohibited, and anyone caught doing so will be in violation of our terms and agreement.

Other Important Information:
- We do not guarantee ship time/date or assume responsibility for shipping companies' actions.
