Every backdrop in this listing is printed on our premium Dream Fabric.

Dream Fabric is a soft, lightly stretchy polyester backdrop material selected for beautiful color, a polished finish, and professional portrait use. It hangs beautifully, photographs with lovely depth, and works well for everything from children’s portraits to full-length couture gowns, maternity, Mommy + Me, and family sessions.

Sizes are listed as width × height.

For example:

• 8' W × 10' H = portrait orientation
• 10' W × 8' H = landscape orientation

Your design is built specifically around the exact size and orientation selected, so please choose carefully before ordering.

How It Works

1. Choose Your Backdrop Size

Select the finished backdrop size that best fits your studio, session concept, and intended use.

Each custom design is created for the exact crop and proportions of the size selected. A portrait backdrop and landscape backdrop require completely different artwork layouts.

2. Share Your Vision

After ordering, we will contact you for the details needed to begin your custom design.

Please be prepared to share:

• Session theme or occasion
• Desired color palette
• Inspiration images
• Client age range or intended use
• Gown colors or wardrobe plans
• Any wording, logos, branding, signs, or special details
• The mood you want the finished portraits to have

The more details you share, the more intentional and personalized your backdrop will feel.

3. We Create Your Backdrop Design

The Styling Room will create your custom backdrop concept around the details you provide.

Once your proof is ready, you will receive it for review before it is sent to print. Please review all spelling, colors, placement, proportions, crop, and requested details carefully.

4. Approve + Print

Once your final proof is approved, your backdrop artwork is prepared at the exact print dimensions for your chosen size and sent into production.

Because each backdrop is custom designed and printed specifically for your order, changes cannot be made after final approval or once production begins.

Need a Coordinating Floor Drop or Cutout?

Coordinating floor drops, pathway extensions, printed signs, props, and custom cutouts are available by custom quote.

Important Design + Print Details

Custom backdrops are created for professional photography and large-format printing.

Colors may vary slightly depending on monitor settings, studio lighting, editing style, and the finished fabric material. Large-format backdrops are designed to photograph beautifully from portrait distance. Fine details may appear softer when viewed up close but are intentionally created to give your images depth, scale, and a polished finished look through the camera.

Artwork is designed around the exact size and orientation selected. Changing from portrait to landscape, changing dimensions, requesting additional open space, or making major concept changes after the proof stage may require an additional design fee.

Artwork, Inspiration + Copyright

You are welcome to submit inspiration images, color references, logos, photographs, and visual ideas to guide your custom design.

By placing this order, you confirm that you own or have permission to use any images, logos, artwork, photographs, or branding you provide. The Styling Room cannot recreate copyrighted characters, trademarked brands, licensed artwork, another photographer’s backdrop, or another artist’s original design without proper rights or written permission.

Inspiration is always welcome. Direct copying is not.

We reserve the right to decline any request that may infringe on another creator’s intellectual property.

Turnaround Time

Please allow time for both the custom design process and print production.

Turnaround begins once we have received all required design details and your final proof has been approved. Production and shipping timelines may vary based on backdrop size, current order volume, seasonal demand, and carrier transit conditions.

Need your backdrop for a specific session date? Contact us before ordering. Rush availability is limited, must be approved in advance, and is never guaranteed.

Final Sale Policy

Because every backdrop is custom designed and professionally printed specifically for your order, all custom backdrop sales are final.

We cannot cancel, refund, exchange, resize, or alter a backdrop after final artwork approval has been given or production has begun.

Please double-check your selected size, orientation, wording, colors, design proof, and shipping address before approving your artwork.

Custom Printed Backdrops by The Styling Room are made specifically for each customer based on the selected size, orientation, artwork, colors, and final approved design. Because these items are custom created and printed to order, all custom backdrop sales are final.

This policy applies to custom printed backdrops, custom backdrop designs, coordinating floor drops, printed cutouts, and other made-to-order printed scenic products.

Custom Orders Are Final Sale

Once design work, proofing, print setup, or production has begun, custom backdrop orders cannot be cancelled, refunded, returned, exchanged, resized, or altered.

Each backdrop is created specifically for your order and cannot be restocked or resold.

Please review your chosen size, orientation, wording, color palette, design details, shipping address, and final proof carefully before approving your order for print.

Cancellations Before Production

Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing as soon as possible.

We may be able to approve a cancellation only when no design work, proofing, print setup, production order, or printing has begun. A cancellation is not guaranteed after checkout, as custom orders may enter the design process quickly.

For approved pre-production cancellations, any completed design work, rush fees, processing fees, or non-refundable third-party print costs may be deducted from the refund.

Proof Approval

A digital design proof is provided for review before printing.

It is the customer’s responsibility to carefully review the proof for:

• Spelling and wording
• Names, dates, logos, and branding
• Color choices
• Image crop and placement
• Scale and open portrait space
• Backdrop size and orientation
• Requested design details

Final proof approval authorizes The Styling Room to prepare the artwork for print. We are not responsible for spelling errors, sizing issues, color choices, design placement, crop decisions, or other details approved by the customer in the final proof.

Any requested changes after approval may require a redesign fee and may affect turnaround time.

Color + Print Variations

Colors may vary slightly between screens, digital proofs, studio lighting, editing styles, and the finished printed backdrop material.

Large-format backdrops are designed to photograph beautifully at portrait distance. Fine details may appear softer when viewed closely but are intentionally designed to create depth, scale, and realism through the camera.

Minor color variation, material variation, visual texture, or differences caused by monitor calibration are not considered defects and do not qualify for a refund, replacement, or return.

Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Orders

Please inspect your custom backdrop immediately after delivery.

If your backdrop arrives damaged, defective, or materially different from the final approved proof due to an error on our part, contact us within 48 hours of delivery.

Your message must include:

• Your order number
• Clear photos of the backdrop
• Clear photos of the shipping box or tube
• Photos showing the issue in full
• A written explanation of the concern

Do not dispose of the packaging or backdrop until we have reviewed your claim.

If we confirm that the backdrop was damaged in transit, printed incorrectly, or produced differently from the final approved proof due to our error, we will determine the appropriate resolution. Depending on the situation, this may include a replacement, reprint, repair solution, store credit, or refund.

We may require the item to be returned before issuing a replacement or refund.

Shipping Delays

Production and shipping timelines are estimates and are not guaranteed. Seasonal demand, print volume, weather, carrier delays, and other circumstances outside of our control may affect delivery timing.

Please do not schedule a client session based solely on an estimated shipping date.

If a confirmed ship date cannot be met, we will contact you with available options in accordance with applicable requirements. Federal mail-order rules generally require sellers to seek consent for certain shipping delays or provide a refund when the customer does not agree to wait.

The Styling Room is not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, incorrect shipping addresses, refused packages, theft after delivery, or delays outside our control.

Lost or Stolen Packages

Once a package has been marked delivered by the carrier, The Styling Room is not responsible for lost or stolen packages.

Please ensure your shipping address is complete and accurate at checkout, including suite numbers, business names, apartment numbers, or other delivery details.

If a package appears lost in transit, contact us promptly. We will assist with opening a carrier investigation when available, but replacements or refunds are not guaranteed until the carrier claim process is complete.

Copyright + Customer-Provided Artwork

By submitting logos, photographs, inspiration images, artwork, branding, or other content, you confirm that you own the material or have the necessary permission or licensing to use it.

The Styling Room cannot recreate copyrighted characters, trademarked brands, licensed artwork, another photographer’s backdrop, or another artist’s original design without proper authorization.

Orders cannot be refunded because a requested concept cannot be printed due to copyright, trademark, licensing, or intellectual-property concerns. We may offer the opportunity to revise the concept into an original design when possible.
