Our dress experience sets us apart from other online stores and big box retailers. We take pride in the uniqueness of our gowns, ensuring that no two dresses are ever the same. Each gown is crafted to order upon receiving your request, and we avoid mass production at all costs.
Every gown is meticulously handmade, reflecting our Made to Measure approach to dress design. This means that anyone can fashion and personalize their dream dress. As a result of our made-to-order process, our fabric selection can vary, and our stock is limited.

At B+L we offer fabrics and materials from a very limited selection, providing customization options with finishes and details which allow for personal tailoring according to the client’s individual measurements and desires.
Each garment is individually crafted to perfection. In some cases we can also custom design a fabric for you.
We provide a catalog of past designs that you may choose from for silhouette ideas, fabric inspiration etc. This approach allows you – the consumer- to have more control in your buying experience. Important to note:
We work within all budgets. Needing something a little more simple? We can do that too! We design basic tulle dresses to couture gowns. We also offer custom mommy and me designs -to coordinating sibling sets.
Turn around time can vary – as each dress requires a different amount of make time. Before placing your order it is best to contact us and check current production times based on dress type.
It is best to email us to discuss if fabric is currently available or to discuss other fabric options. ANY of our dress silhouettes can be changed to your desired color/fabric option.
Each dress is made to your measurements provided OR you can select a dress based on our size chart. (IF YOU SELECT a size that does NOT reflect the standard measurements chart provided on our measurements page– you will be charged an additional make fee.
Yes - We have now opened the option to use SEZZLE or SHOP PAY when both renting with us as well as ordering custom orders.
You must however email us for a custom invoice! Or you will be billed the payment plan difference on the order total. This must be paid PROMPTLY or your order will be canceled.
Yes, we allow fabric deposits to be made. This fee is typically $125-175.
If you send a fabric deposit- this deposit is non-refundable. Once we order your fabric and you elect to not finish out your dress payments or cancel you will not be refunded any deposit paid.
All payments should be paid within 90 days of your deposit payment. Should you need longer then 90 days we will add an additional $100 to your total.
Because our items are made to order in house promptly after orders are placed, we do not accept cancellations. Please be sure ALL measurements are taken by a professional seamstress.
We are NOT responsible for any gown that is not created by the correct sizing. Once you have submitted your measurements we can not go back in and change any parts of your order/gown. We will NOT refund due to incorrect information submitted. It is important that you as the buyer fully understand these terms. We will NOT go back and make any changes once we have started/finished a gown.
YOU MUST LET US KNOW WITHIN 48 HOURS OF ANY AND ALL ORDER ISSUES. AFTER 48 HOURS THERE WILL BE NO REFUNDS OR EXCHANGES. We do not refund or exchange any custom order unless it is due to a defective issue on our part.
Please review our confirmation emails accurately. No changes will be made after you agree to our confirmation email.
