The Christmas Keepsake is an heirloom-inspired holiday couture dress created for the kind of Christmas portraits you'll want to pull out year after year.

A whimsical Christmas tree print is paired with layers of ivory-white lace woven with delicate metallic gold details, while fine gold trim traces the bodice for just the right amount of holiday sparkle. Underneath, layers of bridal-soft and structured tulle create the full, twirly silhouette Bentley + Lace is known for.

The result feels nostalgic and festive without becoming costume-like—perfect for Christmas portraits, holiday mini sessions, Nutcracker-inspired photography, fine-art portraits, and magical childhood Christmas sessions.

The Details

The fitted Christmas tree-print bodice features a classic rounded scoop neckline with delicate gold glitter trim outlining the neckline and princess seams.

Soft white-and-gold lace ruffles cap the shoulders, adding a feminine heirloom detail without creating a traditional full sleeve.

Turn her around and the dress is just as beautiful from the back. A deep scoop back with corset-style lacing provides an adjustable fit, finished with delicate loops and soft satin ribbon. An oversized coordinating statement bow completes the back waist.

The full gathered skirt is intentionally designed at a vintage short length, giving the gown its playful storybook silhouette.

Two gathered layers of white-and-gold lace create the statement hem, while multiple layers of soft bridal tulle and structured white tulle underneath provide volume and movement. Lace detailing on the upper tulle layers adds another beautiful element as the skirt moves.

An incorporated crinoline provides fullness and structure without excessive bulk, so the skirt holds its shape beautifully for standing portraits, sitting poses and—of course—twirling.
