The Merry & Bright is our couture take on the classic Christmas dress—rich red satin, dramatic puff sleeves, fluffy white tulle, and just enough sparkle to make it feel extra special.

Designed specifically with photography in mind, this short holiday gown has a beautifully structured, rounded silhouette that holds its shape while still giving her plenty of room to move, pose, and twirl.

The Dress

The smooth red crystal satin bodice features a classic round neckline and a dramatic open oval back.

A traditional lace-up corset at the lower back provides adjustability through the bodice and waist, while a delicate satin tie at the neckline helps secure the upper bodice.

At the natural waist, a smooth black satin waistband creates the iconic Christmas contrast and is finished at center front with a sparkling rectangular rhinestone buckle.

Those Sleeves...

The oversized red satin puff sleeves are intentionally dramatic.

Full, Structured Twirl Skirt

The short red satin skirt is heavily gathered at the natural waist to create a full, rounded silhouette.

A fluffy white ruffled tulle border finishes the hem, while five layers of supporting tulle, lining, and a full crinoline underneath give the skirt its signature shape.

Horsehair structure within the satin hem helps the skirt maintain that beautiful couture bell shape rather than falling soft or limp.

The result is FULL but intentionally structured rather than bulky.

Perfect for twirling, skirt holds, sitting poses, movement shots, and those wonderfully over-the-top Christmas portraits.

The Merry & Bright features an adjustable corset back and neckline tie, giving this gown considerably more flexibility than a traditionally fitted dress.

Important Fit Note

The 11" shoulder-to-waist measurement is the wearer's/reference measurement, while the bodice itself is intentionally constructed at approximately 8.5" to accommodate the adjustable fit and intended proportions of the design.

Because this is a short vintage-style Christmas dress, the finished skirt length will look different depending on the child's height and leg length.

For petite children, it may fall closer to the knee. On taller children within the fit range, expect a shorter above-the-knee silhouette.

If your child falls near either end of the listed size range, we recommend comparing her bust, waist, shoulder-to-waist, and desired skirt length with the measurements above before reserving.

Two Looks in One Rental

Look Two: Remove the sleeves for a clean sleeveless red satin holiday dress.

Add a Santa hat, oversized bow, Christmas headband, or simple curled hair and the personality of the entire look changes again.
